We had an amazing Praise Night on Saturday and I want to thank all those who came to support us. We had over 40 guests that night, which is just fantastic! David Kim was so gracious to come and speak for us on such short notice. I hope we can all receive some Passion, Perspective and Persistence from and through Christ.
I also want to take time and thank the wonderful Praise Band who've stuck with me through these awkward but oftentimes hilarious four years. It feels like yesterday that we revived a withering band from the raw talents that we were given.
But alas, we must trek forward as Daniel leaves for A&M, and I, for my own studies at University. But as one door closes, a window opens, I guess. We have relegated Praise Leading duties to Bobae and Sara. Jason has returned from his long days volunteering and Samuel has stepped up to the mantle of Acoustic Guitar. Tony will be taking up the Electric Bass, after learning the best from our very own Daniel. Further, I believe Seonju and Sarah Park have agreed to stay on for Praising with the band in the future.
As if these weren't news enough, the Antioch Church on Walnut has invited us to their own Praise Night on the 30th. That's the last Sunday of August. Pastor Choi [Youth Pastor] will be gathering up the Youth at Church around 5:00 PM and leave for the event, which starts around 6:00 PM. They blessed us with their presence this Saturday, so the least we can do is show our own support for them, in Christ.
So please pray for the Praise Band and future blessings.
Shalom,
ddukki

For those of you who would like to help the Praise Band with their preparations for the upcoming Praise Night event, open up your Saturday! There are fruits that need cutting, ice that needs crushing and posters that need posting.
We'll be starting around 12:00 PM, and ending at 2:30 PM. so clear your schedules for this Saturday!
Also, we'd like to ask all of you who are coming to the event to bring a bag of snacks or a 2-liter bottle for the Praise Night. We'll have a sign-up list on Saturday.
EDIT::
I must have been inhaling fumes earlier. The prep will begin at 12:00 noon, not 4:00PM. Sorry, guys! Thanks to Bob
